Andy Murray (29) is the World No1 after beating Novak Djokovic in ATP world Tour finals title

The Brit beat five-time champion Novak Djokovic in the final 6-3 6-4 at London’s O2 Arena.

Andy Murray’s victory ends Djokovic’s four-year run of success at the tournament and the Serb’s to equal Roger Federer’s record of six titles.

Murray took the first set 6-3 in 47 minutes, but was made to work for it more in the second 6-4.

Murray will have 12, 685 points on Monday  to Djokovic’s 11, 780 (+630)

Murray extended his career-best winning run to 24 matches.
