This book – a follow-up to “To Kill a Mockingbird” which was found amongst the valuables of Harper Lee and published (she is now 89 and residing in Monroeville, Alabama, together with other elderly people), is causing a big stir amongst bookshops and fans of the previous book worldwide.

“Go Set A Watchman” goes on sale on July 14 and one publisher has observed, “It will put E L James’s Grey in the shade”. Waterstones are opening their shops at midnight – for the first time since they did it several years running for J K Rowling’s Harry Potter books between 1999 and 2007. 20,000 orders have been placed already with Waterstones and it is already number 4 in the Amazon bestsellers list.

Other bookshops – because of course Waterstones is only one – will put on fancy dress parties, with fried chicken and “buckets of Tequila”. Look out for more information on the web on or television internet news stories.
