Liverpool are into their second successive Champions Le3ague final after beating Barcelona with spectacular second-leg fightback at Anfield.

Liverpool produced incredible display to ensure and overturn their 3-0 deficit from the Nou Camp with four goals.

It is the first time since 1986 when Barcelona knocked out Gothernburg that a team have recovered a three goal first leg deficit to win a semi-final in this competition.

Divock Origi started the revival tapping home from close range within seven minute followed by substitute Georginio Wijnaldum scoring twice in the space of 122 seconds after the break with Origi finishing on the 70th minute for the fourth goal.

The Barca defence struggled to deal with Origi’s dominance firing the first goal home after Marc-Andre ter Stegen failed to hold Jordan Henderson’s shot., TYhen Wijnaldum burst into the box to meet Trent Alexander Arnold’s low cross and shoot home followed by Xherdan Shaqiri’s cross for Wijnaldum to rise and head home again.

A shocked Barcelona was shell shocked and even Lionel Messi tried in vain.

Liverpool will meet either Ajax or Tottenham in the final on 1st June in Madrid.
