And if you’re hunting and searching it, pray you’ll find a partner who will fit!
We are all better when we find a soul mate
From that first flush of excitement and passion from that very first date
Our hearts go aflutter as we fight for the words to stutter
When will I see you again? I mean when when when?
This includes those of us who’v e had a “few flings”
No don’t turn around and say “flings? What are those things?”
You can sleep with your head on the pillow each and every night
When your heart and emotions can take flight
Thinking about what might have been
If love had taken a different course and you had both been keener….
So..whether you’re totally committed or “fascinatingly” alone
Just with the internet as a “company” as well as your phone
Keep trying to celebrate companionship and romance
Keep grabbing at it every time there is a serious chance
Of love and Happy Valentines Day!
