Pakistan’s margin of victory is the highest for any team in an ICC Tournament final.

Mohammad Amir and Fakhar Zaman inspired Pakistan to a major 180-run win over India in the final of the Champions Trophy at the Oval. Hasan Ali ends the tournament as the leading wicket taker with 13 scalps.

Pakistan came into this tournament as the lowest ranked team and they have not played cricket at home for eight years.

Fakhar Zaman made 114 as he made most of his extra life by reaching a century, Azhar 59 and Hafeez 57 not out enabled Pakistan to reach 338-4.

 

Mohammad Amir Swung the ball accurately to dismiss India’s India’s top order batsman within 14 overs.

The same Pakistan team lost by 124 runs to India and this enabled them to pull together and score this remarkable victory against their biggest rivals.
