Trick-or-treating, wearing scary costumes inline big traditions children love this. The Halloween originated in the Celtic fringes of Britain, carefully adapted by Pagan, Christian traditions and their desire for sweets. The Hallowed evening is the day before All Hallows day ( All Saints’ Day). The origins of trick or treating and tatting up were in the 16th century in Scotland, Wales and Ireland, where children went door-to-door in costume asking for food in exchange for a song, praying for souls of friends an relatives who have not yet reached heaven.
The phrase trick-or-treat was used first in America in 1927, as guising gave way to threatening pranks in exchange for sweets.
The spooky masked person leapt out innocent shoppers at Oxford Street.
