Vistara private airline to introduce Premium economy in India

Vistara is an Indian airline joint venture from Tata Sons and Signapore Airlines based in New Delhi commended operations on 9th January 2015, and till 31st March 2014 carried a total of 100,000 passengers. The airline operates 6 Airbus A320-232 within India and has197 weekly scheduled passenger service across 8 domestic destinations. Vistara is the first private airline to introduce premium economy seats on domestic flights in India.

 Vistara will  be rolling out some posh executive luxury services to entice India’s wealthy – like a new lounge for business travellers – all in a bid to eventually gets its piece of the international skies.

“Vistara has got Singapore airlines as a partner and Singapore airlines has got tremendous reputation in the international routes and Tata’s also have a great reputation so achieving something in the domestic market should not be the criteria for doing well in the international market,” said aviation expert Captain Mohan Ranganathan.
