Zhou behind China Chang’e-5 Moon mission

Zhou Chengyu, a 24-year-old female space commander and in charge of the rocket connector system has become a viral sensation on Weibo,  social media in China for her work on the Chang’e-5, China’s third successful  Moon landing in seven years.

China would be the first in more than 40 years to bring lunar samples back to Earth and will be the third country to do so after the United States and the Soviet Union.
