Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel won the Monaco Grand Prix and extended his championship lead over Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton to 25 points. Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari came second followed by Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull.

Hamilton finished seventh after a difficult race from 13th on the grid. Safety car was brought in after a collision involving Wehrlein and McLaren’s Jenson Button on is one-off return to F1 in place of Fernando Alonso.
