
Judge’s father used to sell tea in the same court house

Surinder Kumar of Jullandar North India, used to sell tea at the court complex of the sub-divisional magistrate court in Nakodar in Punjab, and ironically, his 23-year-old daughter Shruti passed the Punjab Civil Services ( Judicial) examination in her first attempt and soon she will be a judge in the same court.
Shruti after completing college education from Guru Nanak Dev University, graduated Law from Punjab University in Patiala, said to Saturn Herald, βIt is a dream come true, as I always wanted to be associated with the legal profession. I wanted to be a judge. I entered the exam and came first in the SC category. My father served tea to all legal professionals including judges and now it is my turn to serve the people.β
