England face a difficult fourth-innings run chase in the first Test against Pakistan after a eventful third day. The hosts reduced Pakistan to 60-4 after a 67-run first-innings deficit. Pakistan however, closed with a lead of 281, with only 2 wickets remaining. England’s fielding was below mark as Stuart Broad dropped a difficult chance to dismiss Yasir Shah off mid-off and then wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow spilled a simple catch to end innings from Sarfraz Ahmed.
However, Woakes, playing as an absent injured James Anderson, was excellent with the ball.
