There are six highly central London venues for this exciting festival which is now in its 24th amazing year.  Not only are new films premiered here but there are also talks by famous people in the film world such as multi award winner Ken Loach, there are special talks on “What does Brexit Mean for the film industry?” and there are scores of new films long and short to choose from.  The Vue Piccadilly is one of the main venues, and Picturehouse Central on the corner of Shaftesbury Avenue and Great Windmill Street is another. At the helm of the proceedings is owner of Raindance which does film courses throughout the year in several cities around throughout the world, including Masters courses as well as short courses, Elliot Grove.  You can find more details at  www.raindancefestival.org This festival’s short films may qualify for Oscar consideration. Read The Saturn Herald tomorrow to see a write up on a talk with famous film Director Ken Loach.
