It is not easy being a shark pup as their lives are pretty tough as some pubs even cannibalise one another in the womb.  The male Sharks Cartilaginous fish, have two penis-like organs called claspers are used to channel semen into females during mating.  Once the male signals his intentions, he will dock beside the female and flex his adjacent clasper across the mid-line of his body to insert into her genital opening or cloaca and uses spurs to lock into place until mating is complete. However, the whale sharks and tiger sharks, carry eggs in sacs inside the female shark’s body –up to 300 at any one time. While inside the eggs, the embryos are nourished by a yolk sac. When they are ready, they hatch from the egg sacs and continue to grow and develop inside the mother, during which time the lining of mother’s uterus provides nourishment.
