London’ s first snow in four years
Near blizzard conditions have swept Britain, with snow falling in London covering up to 3cm with readings of minus 2°C in parts of East and South East and over a 24 long-haul flights grounded were cancelled at Heathrow Airport. London had not experienced this much snow since March 2013 as the streets and parks turned white.
Wales saw the biggest accumulation of snow in Sennybridge where 32cm (12.5 inches fell on Sunday.
