First North Korean leader to cross the border in 65 years
Kim Jong-un crossed the Korean border, shook hands with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, ahead of their historic summit in the demilitarised zone, and became the first North Koran leader to do so since the end of the Korean War in 1953. The leaders of North and South Korea agree to work to rid the Peninsula of nuclear weapons.
The historic face-to-face meeting signals a potential turning point in the long and bloody battle history of North and South Korea.
