Five big cats on the prowl after escaping from the Eifel zoo

Two tigers, two lions and a Jaguar have escaped from the privately owned Eifel Zoo, in Lunebach in western Germany. The animals were able to break out after flooding from a storm overnight.

The 30-hectare (64-acre) Eifel Zoo, owned by the Wallpott family, is home to 400 animals of 60 species including Siberian tigers and lions. It was first created in 1965 with only dogs, donkeys and a wild boar and is visited by 70, 000 people a year.
