Schindler’s CleanCall Touchfree access control buttons for lifts to prevent the spread of Covid-19
Schindler who has been a pioneer in innovative elevator technology who holds the first-ever patent for the elevator without a machine room has brought out an innovative built-in sensor called Cleancall which activates a touchless system for call destination, by moving a finger with the proximity of 3cm.
Schindler CleanCall with shared interfaces enabling the destination selection by just a wave of the hand which means less physical contact and less potential to transmit Covid-19. The sensor can detect interaction from a distance of 3 cm from the button surface to enable users to make their selection with no physical contact. The replacement of conventional touch buttons, with no-contact sensors, can be easily replaced with Schindler CleanCall buttons in operating panels. While the conventional touch buttons require users to touch them with their own skin, changing hygiene standards are demanding an entirely touch-free sensor-based interface with a different approach. The contactless works by using an innovative built-in sensor that detects when a call should be activated by moving a finger in front of the sensor button within minimum proximity of 3 cm from the surface to activate the integrated sensor.
