Pakistan leads South Africa by 200 runs with four wickets remaining.
Although South Africa made an early inroad into Pakistan’s second innings the host’s lead still past 200 and there is early evidence of swing but not much turn and it has been left to Pakistan’s middle order to set South Africa a target to chase on a pitch that is expected to become more difficult for batting.
Pakistan earlier took another wicket in the same over when George Linde gloved a Hasan short ball but Rizwan was unconvinced, but at 21 he was bowled by a Hasan slower ball., Hasan swung the ball in late and took out the middle stump before Maharaj was given out lbw to Hasan, Rabada was run out for a duck and Nortje was bowled shouldering arms to Hasan off the first ball he faces. Hasan took five wickets.
