Jordan took 3-17 and Woakes 2-23 reduced Australia to 21-4 and restricted them to 125 ao, with Finch 44 and Agar 20, took them to their fifth lowest total in T20.

Buttler 71 not out off 32 balls and Roy 22 not out from 20 balls gave England their third successive victory. England win with 8.2 overs to spare.

Pakistan beat Afghanistan by a thrilling five-wicket in Dubai.

Pakistan were cruising in a chase of 148 until captain Babar Azam was bowled by Rashid Khan for 51. Shoaib Malik was caught behind in the next over, as 24 more runs were needed  from the last 12 balls. Asif Ali  25, smashed four sixes from six balls in the 19^th over to steal success with six balls to spare.

Earlier Afghanistan were restricted to 147-6 by high-octane Pakistan’s bowlers, including Wasim 2-25, but an batting unbeaten seventh-wicket stand of 71 between Mohammad Nabi and Gubadin Naib who both made 35 not out, saw them recover from 76-6.

Pakistan are top of Group 2, with three wins from three games.
