Elephant runs amok

An elephant brought for Thrissur Pooram was irked and ran amok on Monday, 7:15 am near the Sreemoolam Sthanam of the Vadakkumnathan temple in Kerala, India when its mahout took a toilet break. The crowd panicked and scattered in different directions shortly after the elephant was brought under control when the mahout returned.

No injuries or property damage were detected.
