Eight-time European champions Germany beat France 2-1 to reach the finals and meet England at Wembley on Sunday. Alexandra Popp, who has now scored six goals, level with England’s Beth Mead in the Golden Boot race,  scored twice for Germany on either side of merle Frohm’s own goal.

Germany’s opener through Alexandra Popp’s Volley was their 100th goal in the UEFA Women’s European Championship, making them the first side to reach a century of goals in the competition.
