The Moon: A closer look
The Arctic Circle spanning the border of Canada, Alaska, and Russia, where the above amazing video was shot which lasts only a few seconds, revealing spectacular views. This phenomenon can be seen only for 36 seconds once a year when the moon appears in all its splendor and then does a disappearing act. It is amazingly close that it appears it is going to collide with Earth, then for 5 seconds, a total solar eclipse occurs where everything goes dark. This phenomenon occurs only at perigee ( the point where the moon is closest to the Earth.
