Rohit Sharma : “It has always been good to play here, I would love to keep coming here and entertain the crowd, we have played like a true champions, Mumbai team has shown the character in bouncing back from precarious situation. It was important to show character after that early loses, we have always spoken about showing character, We have always been a champion side, we didn’t focus on what was happening around us, we were focused on our target, boys were up for the challenge, we picked ourselves from those early losses, credit to the boys.”
MS Dhoni : “Well, I think they got too many runs on the board, we bowled well the 1st over, but in the 2nd over they got the momentum and from that point on we were not able to get back into the game. From that point on it was difficult for us to get back into the game. When it comes to a team effort, we have never reached 100 percent efficiency level. Individuals have taken their responsibility but losing McCullum was a big blow, but as an international player, they have their commitment to fulfill. There are few areas where we can improve as a team.”
