30,000 to gather at Stonehenge
Over 30,000 people are set descend on Stonehenge in Wiltshire to watch Solstice sunrise. Since time in memorial Solstice sunrise was celebrated at the ancient pre historic Stonehenge. Sun worshippers will be able to get a glimpse of the sun through the clouds, after it is risen to the horizon 4:52am.
Stonehenge is believed to have been used as a worship site by British as early as 4000 years ago although more recently Pagan worship gained popularity in the 20th Century.
