Australia claimed their  ninth biggest win by runs in test history at Lord’s Cricket ground and their biggest win since 1948, and their third biggest win  ever in the Ashes Test . They level the five match Ashes series 1-1.

Mitchell Johnson was at his best unplayable returned with figures 27-3 inspired Australia to complete the rout as England were bowled out for 103.
