A poem for Mother’s Day
Wherever we are
We are all born from Mothers
And many times we have sisters and brothers
Mothers are nurturing Mothers are Nice
Sometimes they can be grumpy But none of us have no vice
Mothers work hard to keep the family together
They try to stay bright and cheerful whatever the weather
So praise your lovely mother on this one special yearly day
And to your sometimes long suffering Mum say Hip Hip Hooray!
My joke: Man – Where do you come from Pretty Lady?
Pretty Lady – Same place as you Mamummatumma
Man – is that a place in Australia?
Pretty Lady: No its my mummy’s tummy…ha ha ha
We are all from Mamummatumma – “my mummy’s tummies” and we all have that in common the world over. ENJOY! Congratulations to mothers all round the world but note mother’s day is on different dates in other countries.
