Adelie foods sandwich maker goes into administration with 2, 169 job losses

Adelie Foods Britain’s largest sandwich makers went into administration last week with the loss of over 2, 000 jobs with sites at Milton Keynes, Prologis Park near Heathrow, Wembley, Tamworth in Staffordshire, Haydock in Merseytside, Kilmarnock in Scotland, Cardiff in Wales and headquarters in Southall in West London.

Deloitte announced that attempts to rescue the firm had failed and there would be 2, 169 re3dunanceis with 22 staff retained.
