Anti Gun Campaigner – sculpture made of melted down weapons
Dr Erinma Bell MBE is remembered in a sculpture as a peace activist and anti-gun campaigner. The piece will be unveiled by Greater Manchester Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Lloyd to mark Internatioanl Women’s Day. It is made of melted down illegal weapons taken from criminals by the local police force.
It honours Dr Bell’s contribution to Greater Manchester Communities. There are a number of Manchester’s citizens outside the force who carry arms. Clearly this is possibly a threat to their community.
