Australia powers to final after beating India by 95runs

 Australia crush India and powers into Final   is an all trans-tasman affair, their fifth appearance out of 11 and meet co-host New Zealand whose first World cup final. Australia won the toss an elected to bat first. Indian openers Mohammad Sammi and Yadav caused Australian openers problems with their pace, as David Warner could muster only 12. However Aron Finch 81 off 116 balls 7 fours and one six and aggressive Steve Smith 105 off 93 balls 11fours and 2 sixes with useful contribution from Glenn Maxwell 23 off 14, James Faulkner 21 off 12, Mitchell Johnson 27 0ff 9, posted an imposing total 328-7. Umesh Yadav took 72-4.

India started well with an 76 run opening partnership between Shikar Dhawan 45 off 41 and Rohit Sharma 34 off 48, and only Rahane 44 off 68 and Dhoni 65  could keep their slim hope alive. But once they were out India were bowled out for the first time in this tournament for 233 in 46.3 overs
