Australia were 80-1 in their 12th over and sudden collapse to 106-9, before struggling to 151 all out in 32.2 overs,
Boult picking up 27-5, Clark, Maxwell, Marsh among his victims. Australia gave away eight wickets for 26 runs.
New Zealand responded with 131-4 as at this point they looked completely under control, but then lost five wickets
for 15 runs with Mitchell Starc 28-6 with series of brilliant yorkers. New Zealand won the match by one wicket but not before a scare.
