Brazil-bound Italian container sinks in Atlantic Ocean
A Brazil bound Italian container sinks in Atlantic ocean off the coast of France, carrying over 2000 cars including 37 Porsches including 911, GT2, RS, 718, Cayman, Boxster and Cayenne and some Audi modesl like A3, A5,RS4, RS5 and Q7 models which caught fire.
Over 2000 cars sank but all 27 crew members aboard the Grande America on March 11, were rescued by the Royal Navy vessel which moved in from 150 miles away.
The vessel ran aground on March 12 about 150 nautical miles southwest of Brest, France at a depth of 15, 000 feet beneath the surface of the ocean.
