Britain’s only official floating Christmas tree in London UK
St Katherine’s Dock in London is having a floating Christmas Tree installed. 14,000 lights will shine on it and the switch on of the 45 foot tree will be on November 24, tomorrow. There will be a five foot star on top and it has taken 8 men 16 hours to assemble the attraction.
It weighs an amazing 5.8 tonnes and if you visit the area you will find childrens’ activities, and a Christmas film festival.
A spokesperson said, “On the hour, every hour, the tree will come alive with sparkling lights whilst the rest of the docks will be shining bright for the public to come and soak up the Christmas cheer”.
Other Christmas switch ons are happening and Oxford Street has already had theirs performed by Craig David.
