Brussels airport and metro bombs cause horror
Brussels has been targeted by two bombs in the airport and one in the metro causing at least 36 fatalities.
It is said at least 14 people died in the airport and 20 in The Metro. Scores of people fled the disaster zones in fear of their lives.
“What we feared has happened” said Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel. He continued, “We must face this challenge in solidarity, united, together” calling the attacks “blind, violent and cowardly”.
Apart from the dead there are also dozens wounded. Police and the emergency services are patrolling the streets and two people have already been arrested.
British Prime Minister David Cameron said “we need to stand together against these appalling terrorists and make sure they never win”.
