Regent’s Canal named after Prince Regent, later George IV, is part of London’s Grand Union Canal, spanning  London Zoom Camden Market, Victoria warehouses and celebrity hangouts, Little Venice, and was originally built to link the huge Grand Junction Canal’s Paddington branch with the River Thames. One-way journey along the canal from Little Venice also known as Maida Vale, to Camden Lock Market by narrow boat, could take 45-55 minutes, passing through a 19th century Ice House London Canal Museum and explore about the history of the ice cream trade.

In 1811, John Nash transformed Henry VIII’s former hunting ground into landscaped rose gardens dubbed  “the Jewel in the crown”, Regent’s Park. which was the prime location for many London-based films including Bridget Jones, The Edge of Reason, About a Boy, An American Werewolf in London, Withnall and I, and Brief Encounters.
