Colima volcano (Volcan Fuego) is one of the most active and dangerous in North America which had more than 30 periods of eruptions since 1585 including critical ones in 1990s. The Colima volcanic complex consists of two southward-younging volcanoes, Nevado de Colima (4320m high point) on the north and the 3850 m high active Volcan de Colima at the south.
