Cost of Changing gender falls to £5

The fee to apply for a gender recognition certificate has been cut from £140 to £5, according to Liz Truss Equalities Minister who said she was making the process fairer, simpler, and more affordable as part of the efforts to ensure transgender people are free to live and prosper in modern Britain. Elizabeth Mary Truss, known as Liz Truss, is a British politician serving as Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade since July 2019 and Minister for Women and Equalities since September 2019
