Covid-19 vaccine ready by year-end if 50, 000 people take part in trials

Britain has a window of opportunity to eradicate the virus in the summer months, if 50, 000 people take part in the COVID Vaccine trials.

Professor Tim Spector, an epidemiologist, director of TwinsUK and science writer from King’s College London, who created one of the leading smartphone apps for tracking symptoms of the virus said “the symptom of COVID-19 waned across Europe in the face of warmer weather with the advent of Summer. Our symptom app is showing – and the government data is as well- that we actually bottomed out about two weeks ago, the rates of decline stopped at the beginning of July.”
