Dutch Police get snappy about crocs – a strange tale

A pair of huge menacing crocodiles – adult size were chosen by a gang of drug dealers in Holland to guard their loot.  Police arrested 11 suspects in connection with the crime and seized £240,000 in cash hidden in a cage with the two crocs.

“They thought it was safer” said police spokesman Frans Zulderhock in relation to the choice of the reptiles to act as a deterrent to being investigated.  There is a serious side to this story as police also seized large quantities of synthetic drugs and crystal meth to the value of Euros 500,000 (£393,000) in the raid.

In Indonesia, an anti-drugs agency have looked into building a prison guarded by crocodiles.  The anti-drugs chief Budi Waseoso said “I will search for the most ferocious type of crocodile” in relation to the plans.

With regard to the Dutch dealers, including owner of the crocodiles, drugs were being delivered to hundreds of locations and addresses which included Belgium – a neighbour of  Holland. So don’t be in denial about the crocodiles – the allegations are true.
