ECB Profits up 215 per cent!
The England and Wales Cricket Board’s pre tax profit were up 215 per cent to £28.4m, their annual revenues up 42 per cent 50 £174.7m Their cash reserves were negative until 2005, after England won the Ashes for the first time in 18 years they climbed to £70m, although it struggles with criticism like if Kevin Peterson should play in the Ashes for England. The recent sacking of former England coach Peter Moores, and the episode of Kevin Peterson, some suggests that ECB is out of touch. Yesterday 15th May 2015, 41 members of the ECB approved appointment of Colin Graves, the 67year old millionaire founder of Costcutter supermarket chain, as their new chairman.
