Eight dead as private jet crashed into building in Milan
A private single engine Pilatus PC-12 plane bound for the island of Sardinia, piloted by Romanian billionaire Dan Petrescu, 68, after take off form Milan’s Linate airport, has crashed into an empty office block in the northern Italian City of Milan, killing all eight people on board.
The crash set the office block and several nearby parked cars on fire.
The eyewitness claim the plane was already on fire when it went down followed by loud explosion, as the windows of nearby houses started to shake.
Petrescu, a property developer, was one of Romania’s richest man, who died with his wie and their 30-year-old son. A child is also reported to be among those killed.
