Elon Musk sold 3 houses in December for $40.9m
Elon Musk sold three houses in the Bel-Air neighbourhood of Los Angeles for $40.9 million in December according to property records. The largest home a six-bedroom , seven bathroom mansion that sits on 1.5 acres of land sold for $29.72 million while the smallest house sold for $4.43m.
Tech billionaire Elon Musk (49), is making good on his promise not to own any home which he made in the spring is selling a handful of Los Angeles properties last week for $60m.
All properties are now part of the property portfolio to local developer Ardie Tavangarian, a representative for the developer confirmed.
The properties are set to be transformed into a new single development project to make it truly one of a kind according to Tavagarian;s Arya Group.
Musk’s home-selling started in May, when the Tesla and Space CEO tweeted that he planned to sell almost all physical possessions including his handful of LA homes.
He sold another Bel-Air home to a Chinese billionaire for $29 million in June and he sold the estate that belonged to the actor Gene Wilder in October. Musk announced earlier this month that he was moving to Texas.
