Emirates Airlines to compensate all passengers of crash-landed flight EK521 US $ 7000
The Emirates airlines have announced a compensation of US $ 7000 to all passengers of the Thiruvananthapuram – Dubai flight which crashed landed and caught fire at Dubai International airport.
The airline company has estimated US $ 2000 for the loss of luggage of the passengers and US $ 5000 will be given to each passenger for the mental agony and loss of valuable time due to the accident.
Emirates Airlines has already emailed each passenger who travelled on the flight, saying the money will be sent to the passenger when they submit the documents including Passport or ID cards which prove they were passengers of the ill-fated flight. Eighteen crew and two hundred and Eighty two people mostly Indian had a miraculous escape when the packed Emirates Boeing 777-300, flight EK521 from Thiruvananthapuram to Dubai crash-landed and exploded on the runway at Dubai International Airport last week, Shutting down one of the world’s busiest airport and killing one firefighter, who was saving the lives of others.
