Four killed in hundreds injured in Milan train derailment
Four people were killed and hundreds injured in Thursday’s train derailment and crash at Pioltello, 30 km from the Italian city of Milan, according to the Italian fire department. Six people were trapped inside one of the carriages, with emergency services working hard to free them. The train was on its way on its way from Cremona to the Garibaldi Port station in Milan when it derailed between Segrate and Pioltello
The train derailed at 7 am on Thursday and its operator Trenord tweeted that a “ technical problem” caused the accidents.
