Angel di Maria scores a long-range stunner to draw Argentina level at 1-1 in their World Cup tie against France after Antoine Griezmann had opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the ninth minute.

Seventh-ranked France knocked out fifth-ranked Argentina 4-3 after a penalty shootout.

Kylian Mbappe (19) scored two fine goals and became the first teenager to score two in a World cup match since Pele netted twice for Brazil against Sweden in 1958 final, that gave France victory over Argentina and a place in the quarterfinals.
