Happy World Vegan Day!
Every year on 1st November Vegans around the world celebrate their vegan lifestyle, which is beneficial for the health of human beings and fosters environmental protection as well as the lives of animals. The movement decries all acts of cruelty and violence against our animal brethren.
World Vegan Day was introduced in 1994 by Louise Wallis, then Chair of The Vegan Society in the United Kingdom, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the organisation and the coining of the terms “vegan and “ veganism”. It is vital for a human being to follow a balanced diet with pulses, cereals, grains, vegetables and fruits to fulfil the body’s nutritional requirements.
Animal agriculture is responsible for global warming, deforestation, climate change, and water scarcity.
