Pakistan registers their fifth Test win against South Africa in spectacular fashion with Azhar scoring 31 runs
On Day 4 at the National Stadium, Karachi, debutant Nauman Ali was supercharged by 5-35 to trigger a spectacular South African collapse needing Pakistan just 88 runs to win. South Africa was unsuccessful to arrest the slide as Yasir Shah and Nauman struck. South Africa just managed to add 58 more runs to the overnight’s score., with a fighting 40 from Temba Bavuma.
Hasan Ali got rid of nightwatchman Keshav Maharaj off the day’s first ball that kept alarmingly low to breach Maharaj’s defence. Captain Quinton de Kock became another victim to Abid Ali at short leg off Shah. South Africa had two batting collapses in this Test although there was little partnership of 42runs between Bavuma and George Linde in the first innings
