Janveer heroically survives mind numbing ski slope drama
Adventurous Janveer Sandhu was on the slopes in Banska Bulgaria with his friend when he veered off course and virtually knocked himself out on a tree trunk. Unable to locate anyone to help him poor Janveer bravely walked through thigh and waist deep snow at one point pursued by a pack of wolves in order to try and save his own life. At night he ate snow to take in liquid and fought hard to try and stop the frost bite digging into his legs. His survival tactics and his instinct has been paralleled to The Revanant, British paper The Sun nicknaming him The Ilford Revanant.
When he was finally rescued he had to have treatment for frostbite and is now in a hospital in Chelmsford Essex. Project Manager Janveer has been told he is lucky that his legs were saved but he may lose one toe.
Locals in Bulgaria told Janveer that 98 per cent of people going through this would not have come out alive. Well done Janveer for saving your own life and bringing us this amazing story.
