Jason Roy became the 12th England opener to aggregate 1000 runs in ODI. An 163 run partnership between Sarfaraz Ahmed 90 and Shoaib Malik 64 ensured Pakistan reached 304 f0r 6 and averted a  whitewash.

Pakistan’s highest successful chase outside Asia in ODI enabled them to avoid a whitewash.

Five-match series  wins for England 4-1. Sarfarz Ahmed’s 90 in this series is the most by a Pakistan wicketkeeper in any ODI series. He eclipsed Umar Akamal’s 253 runs in Asia Cup. He partnered with Shoaib Malik for 163 runs for the fourth wicket is the third-biggest partnership for Pakistan against England for any wicket. This was Pakistan’s first century stand of the series. Hasan Ali took 4-60 and 3-50 by Mohammad Amir.
