Delhi Daredevils won by 27 runs.

 

Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and chose to field. Delhi Dare Devils in powerplay could muster only 37runs for the loss of 3 wickets, after falling to 2 for 2 in the first over  and it was up to Karun Nair’s 68 off 50 and SW Billings, who  steadied the innings and posted respected total of 186 for 8 including 34 off 11 from World Cup T20 Final star Brathwaite with 3 fours and 3 sixes. Andre Russel took 3/26 and UT Yadav 3/33. In the last six overs, they made 80 runs. Fantastic efforts from Zaheer Khan’s 3-21 and CR Brathwaite’s 3-47 ensured Delhi Daredevils by taking crucial wickets at the right time.Although Uthappa’s 72 anchored the KKR innings but they were lacking firepower through the middle overs. KKR have been humbled with two consecutive losses. KKR scored 43 runs in first six overs.
