Rising Pune Supergiants won the toss and opted to bowl against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Virat Kohli who lost his fourth toss in a row said dew may come into play later in the night.
Virat Kohli 80 0ff 63 and AB de Villiers 83 off 46 enabled RCB to post a decent total of 185 for 3 which was enough as Rising Pune Supergiants struggled in the final overs. Thisara wicket was looking like a no-ball but was given out lbw, if not given the game could have been a leveller.
RCB is the only team to have defended totals this season first against Sunrisers for 228 and now against Rising Pune Supergiants.
